All money should be spent on the girls in the troop in the year that they earned it. You may carry over a small amount to start up next year and for any fall activities planned. Please include a note with your report if you are carrying over more then $300.00 The note should list the plan for the money. Along with this time log, you need to write a reflections paper. The paper has no length requirement but should include the following: Project Title: Start Date: Completion Date: Total Hours: A. Describe the issue your project addressed, what impact you made and who benefited. B. Describe any obstacles you encountered and what you did to overcome them. C. Describe any steps you took to inspire others through sharing your project: D. Describe what you learned from this project and the leadership skills you developed. What did you learn about yourself as a result of this project? E. What was the most successful aspect of your project? What aspects of your project would you change? Once you have completed both, you just need to turn them into your troop leader for approval. She will then fill out the paperwork for GSCCC, and they will send you the information to pick up your certificate and purchase your silver award pin.

So many of these resources are laid out so journeys can be completed in a day or a weekend and many encompass a few meetings or more. Most of these will have to be tailored to fit your troop and some of them would make a great plan for a service unit or council to put on a �??Journey in a Day�?? or �??Journey in a Weekend�?? event.
