GRAVESITE CLEANUP: CIVIL WAR GRAVESITE

The Gravesite Cleanup program encourages individual responsibility for our environment through maintaining this historical site. Originally a Silver Award Project for Troop 789, they cleaned and restored this post Civil War Gravesite in 2006 and it has been maintained by Service Unit troops since then. More recently, in May 2018, Troop 185 refurbished and refreshed the Civil War Gravesite for their Bronze Award Project. Check the calendar below to see when your troop can help.

WHERE: The name on the real estate company is different now. Graves are located to the right side of the building in the woods.

HOW: The Gravesite Cleanup involves maintaining the cleanliness of the site, including picking up trash,

raking leaves and sweeping off the astro turf. Be prepared by bringing trash bags, a rake, a broom and gloves for the girls.
